Credit Card Debt Help?

I had a credit card with Citibank that was sent to collections.

I was enrolled in their credit protector program but since the circumstances of my unemployment didn’t meet their guidelines and due to my lack of research (and lack of payments of course) my account was sent to collections.

I can’t afford to pay off the whole thing but I can FINALLY afford to make payments again.

I was gonna use a debt consolidator company but it’s only ONE credit card.

My account has been deliquent for about 9-10 months now.

What can I do to start making payments? Does anyone know if Citibank will even give me that option now?

The collectors who call me don’t even want to hear “payment plan” they want the full amount and NOW!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
